accessibility statement

Last reviewed: October 5, 2026

Alternative Primary Care is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to access information about our practice and services and use the features of our website as independently as possible.

Our Ongoing Accessibility Efforts

Website accessibility is an ongoing process. Alternative Primary Care continues to review and improve this website with the goal of identifying and correcting accessibility barriers as they are discovered.

Our accessibility efforts are intended to follow recognized web accessibility principles, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), with WCAG 2.2 Level AA used as a guide for ongoing improvement where applicable.

PDP Accessibility Tools

This website includes the PDP Accessibility tool to provide visitors with additional options for adjusting how website content is displayed and experienced.

Depending on the features currently enabled, visitors may be able to:

  • Increase or decrease text size
  • Increase line and letter spacing
  • Adjust contrast
  • View content in grayscale
  • Highlight links
  • Enhance keyboard focus indicators
  • Pause animations and motion
  • Use a more readable font
  • Use a larger cursor
  • Reset accessibility preferences at any time

These tools are intended to supplement, rather than replace, good accessible website design and ongoing accessibility review.

Accessibility Preferences and Privacy

Accessibility preferences selected through the PDP Accessibility tool are stored locally in the visitor’s browser so those preferences can remain available during future visits.

The website may also maintain local, pseudonymous usage statistics about how the accessibility tools are used. A randomly generated browser identifier may be used to distinguish one visitor’s accessibility interactions from another without intentionally identifying the individual.

PDP Accessibility analytics are stored within this website’s WordPress system and are not transmitted to Patient Data Protection. The accessibility analytics are not designed to store names, email addresses, form responses, medical information, page URLs, or IP addresses.

Third-Party Content and Services

Some portions of this website may use content, services, documents, or technologies supplied by third parties. Alternative Primary Care continues to evaluate accessibility issues within areas under its control and encourages third-party providers to make their products and services accessible.

Having Difficulty Using Our Website?

If you experience an accessibility barrier, have difficulty accessing information, or need assistance using any part of this website, please contact Alternative Primary Care. We welcome accessibility feedback and will make reasonable efforts to provide the information or assistance you need.
