Doctors suggest that women start getting yearly mammograms once they turn 40 years old. But let’s talk about the 11,330 young women under 40 who will lose their breast and or life to breast cancer this year. Let’s talk about the fact that by the time a tumor can be detected by a mammogram it has been growing for about 7 years.
